Q)
Hey bud! what is the funniest thing you have seen in the nfl so far?
--matthew henry, chicago, IL
|
| A)
I can't pick out a particular thing that has been that funny since I have been in the NFL. I am pretty funny myself though.

Q)
Hey Greg! I was just reading a couple of the questions and saw that your considered a pretty fast in the 40. Do you think that the 40time really matters during real game situations or is that just a paper stat?
--matthew henry, chicago, IL
|
| A)
I really feel that the 40 is an overrated event/time. You will never play football in the NFL without any equipment on, but that is how you run the 40. Those times that some have can be a little deceiving. It is a good conversation piece though.

Q)
G-Lew!
Come over and check out our website at www.fanshelpingfans.org. If you haven't heard of us yet, we're a group of Eagles fans who formed our own charity to benefit other Eagle fans in need. We're in our second year now and we're becoming more and more visible (booth at Training Camp, Kickoff Party, Draft Party, etc...)
We're blowing away the perception that Eagles fans are always negative and not supportive. Just like you've done so far we've overcome the odds and are becoming a "feel good underdog story."
We'd love to have you onboard especially since we don't have an Eagle representative on the Board yet. We've been fortunate enough for Michael Lewis to add a link for us on his website and would love if you could do the same.
I'll see you with my kids at the carnvial.

Thanks for the support. I will definitely check the site out.

Q)
Yo Greg! 1st off I'd like to say that your 1 of my favorite players & I hope & wish nothing but good things for on & off the field. Now I'm just curious to know how really fast are you? What do your 40 times look like? It's been widely specualted that your the Fastest player on the team & I wanted to know what you thought about that & if your not who else on the team can possibly call themselves the "Fastest Eagle"??
Thanks & God Bless my man!
--Sean Eltringham, Philadelphia, PA
|
| A)
My forty time is between 4.39-4.44. I will always feel that I am the fastest on the team because that's just the type of mindset you have to have, but there are a few guys such as: Lito, Todd, TO, Rod Hood, and Westbrook that probably could give me a run for my money. Thanks for the question hope you enjoyed the site.

Q)
Greg, two questions
What pro-team did you root for growing up?
You mentioned you were on the chess team, who is the best chess player on the Eagles, besides you of course!
--Erik Bertsch, Warrenton, VA
|
A)
I was a Bears fan growing up in Chicago and still am one except when the Eagles play them.
I would have to say Jason Short is the next best chess player besides myself, but a lot of other guys play chess.

Q)
Greg, do you find that reading the Eagles message board helps you stay focused on your ultimate goal of winning the superbowl?
--Toby Lovelace, Anchorage, AK
|
| A)
Not really, I just enjoy seeing what the population of eagles fans have to stay. I am focused on what I need to do with or without reading the message board.

Q)
You da ma, greg! I knew you would be special and you proved it in the playoffs. I too believe that TO will be back and you guys will dominate ,but even if he doesn't play, I have total confidence in you to play X Y or Z. What do you feel is the main area the eagles must improve upon in order to win in detroit? My thought was the running game, particularly more of a physical, inside presence. Your thoughts?
--zack gilson, lantation, FL
|
| A)
We need to improve everywhere. Obviously what we had last year was not good enough. Hopefully all of the guys are working hard in the off-season and everyone comes back ready for a push at the super bowl in Detroit.

Q)
G-
Congratulations on a great season last year. You are a great player and I always knew you would make it this far. Here is my question: According to various Eagle websites you are the fastest play on the roster. However, isn't it true that in college you weren't the fastest player on your team or even at your position? I heard there was one player who could walk on water he was so fast. Is there any truth to this rumor?
--Eric McGoey, Wheaton, IL
|
| A)
There is no truth to that rumor. Although there was a player at Illinois that was close to me but never panned out. Thanks for the question.
